5 - Goto the desktop, or wherever you placed the copy of the file and open it in either Notepad. 4 - Rename the original 'precisionxserver.cfg' in C:\Program Files (x86)\EVGA\PrecisionX 16\Profiles to something like 'precisionxservercfg.old'. 3 - Copy this file to your desktop or another location. Why Can't I get the OSD to pop up on certain games like Titanfall Beta and I recently am playing Battlefield 3 for the first time but I can't get the OSD to pop up on only those 2 games. 2 - Find the file called 'precisionxserver.cfg'. Which I like better than fraps because I can see temps and other info and MSI small pink is less noticeable compared to the fraps Yellow. It turned out that it wasn't the FPS that was dropping, I think it is the game itself, my GPU Drivers, or both, because everything else like my Temps, Usage and things like that, were completely fine.

I was getting a little stutter when I move around, so I wanted to check if I was getting FPS drops, so I had to turn on Fraps.

And since your not recording or anything like that, it won't lag or mess with performance in any way.Īctually, I had to use Fraps today, I had to use it for Thief (the new 2014 version), because Afterburner didn't show the FPS on my Keyboard LCD. This latest version of EVGA PrecisionX adds new features, overclocking support, functionality, and full support for Microsoft DirectX 12 API. Such as Temps, Usage, Fan Speed, FPS, etc.īut if you don't have an LCD on your keyboard, then Fraps works great, it shows the FPS in-game. yeah, MSI afterburner, EVGA precision X (dont get it though. There is a build in FPS counter in the game just look at the key bindings in the options to find it. Its great, because you can control what you want to see. fraps should work - I get the yellow fps count up in the corner when i use it - you may.
EVGA PRECISION X FPS COUNTER BUG HOW TO
I wasn't able to find the frame rate setting, just a way to be able to graph it on the display.I use MSI Afterburner to show the FPS on the LCD of my Logitech G510 Keyboard. Today I will show you how to monitor Temperature, Memory Usage, GPU Usage, Framrate.
EVGA PRECISION X FPS COUNTER BUG SOFTWARE
I have the MSI Afterburner software I downloaded it. The slight performance gain is usually not worth the risks anyways in my opinion. Just be careful with the clock speed tuning and stuff, if you're not familiar with overclocking, then just don't tamper with that part of it.
EVGA PRECISION X FPS COUNTER BUG DRIVERS
Ive tried reinstalls of graphics drivers and geforce experience and EVGA Precision X 4.2.1 (version used for Rainmeter) and RivaTuner. My GPU is a 1080 yet at low settings nothing changes. ShadowPlay works to record video but FPS counter stopped working randomly and I tried EVGA Precision X Monitoring and it doesnt work either. I’m getting a ton of stutters and especially when I pan the camera in any direction, drops to like 14 fps even less. Custom fan curve is always a top suggestion with that app as default fan curves always suck. I tried to recompile with the latest SDK (0.18.0) the result is always disappointing. There's a lot of features to that app which you may consider disabling or fine tuning. In Precision XOC, under settings, you just manually set the frame rate target to 144, click OK before exiting out of that popup and minimize Precision XOC, and you're all done.
EVGA PRECISION X FPS COUNTER BUG SERIAL NUMBER
Keep in mind that any EVGA video card will work with registration just as long as there's a serial number sticker on it and isn't already registered. Unfortunately, that's about the limit of my knowledge on that matter. This doesn’t appear to be Nvidia’s DLSS technique which harnesses deep learning AI to downsample images, but the effect is. If you have neither one, then maybe there's some other third party app that can do it. Warzone lets you tweak display resolution and final render resolution.

If your GTX 1070 was made by EVGA, then it's just a matter of registering your graphics card with their website and downloading the app for free, and I assume it's the same with MSI website if you have an MSI graphics card. my suggestion would be to find a way to get one of them.

Assuming you don't already have Precision XOC or MSI Afterburner installed since you don't know what it is. Ya, Nvidia control panel is lazy that way. Am I doing something wrong? I couldn't find the option in the MSI Afterburner settings either. I tried changing the setting in the NVIDIA control panel that seemed like it was supposed to lock it to the HP Omen monitor, but apparently not because the Steam FPS counter is still showing Aim Hero at 309 FPS. I can't for the life of me figure out how to cap my FPS output.
